Foundation Mission
To build and strengthen relationships with individuals, businesses, and foundations who engage in fostering a culture of philanthropy (time, talent, treasure) by securing funds for Knute Nelson's Mission.
Philanthropy has always been a significant part of Knute Nelson.
Our organization began through Senator Knute Nelson’s donation of land and home, gifted with the intent of serving aging adults. Today, the Knute Nelson organization continues to rely on the generosity of others to allow our mission to thrive.
Giving to the Knute Nelson Foundation supports the mission of our organization, and ensures that we can continue to offer those we serve the highest quality care, while pursuing innovative new ways to meet their ever-changing needs.
The Knute Nelson Foundation was established in 1983 as separate 501(c)3 organization for the purposes of securing and receiving charitable gifts. Our focus is to benefit those served throughout the entire Knute Nelson Corporation. Making a gift to the Knute Nelson Foundation allows us to enhance programs, services, and facilities to accomplish Knute Nelson’s mission of enriching the lives of everyone we serve. The Foundation embarks on and pursues annual, major and planned giving initiatives to maximize donor’s impact to Knute Nelson’s mission.
We each have the opportunity to show our support for the Knute Nelson mission and older adults by giving to the Knute Nelson Foundation. As we look to the future, we know that the needs of aging adults in our communities are evolving. And we hope that through your support we continue to remain an innovator in senior care.
