Sons of the Pioneers to perform in concert in Alexandria on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30p.m. This concert will take place in the Tastefully Simply Performing Arts Center in the Alexandria Area High School. Admission is by season ticket only. We are grateful to Owen and Audrey Miller/ New York Life and Neighborhood National Bank for underwriting a significant portion of the cost of this concert. The Sons of the Pioneers are known as the original "singing cowboy" band. They were instrumental in creating the earliest sounds of western music and are beloved by contemporary western bands. Founded in 1934 by Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan and Time Spencer, the group is currently fortunate to include Roy's song Dusty Rogers. Central Lakes.
