The Manatee County Y welcomes you and your family to join our family! The Y is a charitable, non-profit health and human service organization that has been serving the people of Manatee County for more than 35 years.

The YMCA celebrates 170 years! The Y is a nonprofit like no other. That’s because in 10,000 neighborhoods across the nation, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver, positive change. Locally the Manatee YMCA has been providing membership, programs and services for more than 40 years.

Our impact is felt every day. With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.

The Bradenton Branch Y is the flagship branch of the Manatee YMCA, built in 1977. The Bradenton Kiwanis Club donated a five-acre site and a small metal building was constructed for Y programs and membership. It was not very long before the branch expanded due to the wonderful support of the community. In 1983 a full facility was built including locker rooms, offices and an outdoor swimming pool. Continued growth over the years consisted of adding a group exercise room with wood floor, an indoor heated pool, expanded fitness center, new teen center, expanded child care area, game room for families and cycling room.

The Manatee County Y welcomes you and your family to join our family! ... All Veterans pay $0 Joining Fee when joining the Manatee YMCA in November.
