On Tuesday, February 12, Lucas went in for a routine eye doctor appointment. He was referred to his medical doctor immediately. After a CT scan, he was sent down to the Children's Hospital in St Paul. On Tuesday, February 19, Lucas had a brain tumor removed. After testing, it was determined that he will need to undergo six weeks of radiation with four to seven rounds of chemotherapy to follow in the fall. The benefit on June 1 is to help Lucas' family with expenses.
