MTS Elementary is an established, award winning school offering great education, small class sizes and community experiences to K-5 students for almost 20 years. It has all the great and important things you expect in a school: solid academics and hands-on learning. And, MTS is a free, public, charter school. Students wear uniforms to build community and keep the focus on learning.
MTS Elementary is inspired by arts and science. It features a state-of-the-art science lab and gardens surrounding the school. Students get their hands dirty and learn.
Along with a focus on academics and a strong elementary curriculum, MTS infuses its program with plenty of activities and events, in and out of school, along with at least one performing arts program with students from all grades. Students performed the Nutcracker in full costume. There’s also a lively program called Family Groups, where students across grades in small groups gather on Friday mornings and explore three units during the school year: Arts, Science, and Careers. Where else will a Kindergartner get the benefit of exploring a career as a doctor, build a rocket, and make a painting like Monet—side-by-side with a Fifth grader?
