ATTENTION AREA DEER HUNTERS! The Department of Natural Resources is conducting voluntary sampling for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in the west-central surveillance area (permit areas 213 and 273), which was created after detection of CWD at a deer farm in Douglas County. Hunters can get a 1-year or older deer tested by dropping off the head at any self- service sampling location in the surveillance area. Visit mndnr.gov/cwd before you submit your sample to find an available self-service station. If sampling stations are unavailable, contact DNR's Glenwood area wildlife office at 320-634-7337 for an appointment. DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES ATTENTION AREA DEER HUNTERS!
