Going green and promoting healthy pet care go hand in hand at The Green K9. We believe that owning a pet is a priviledge not a right, and our pets depend on us to make healthy choices for them. Our store is a collection of quality eco-friendly, organic and natural dog and cat products. Our dog and cat food selection consists only of 4 and 5 star foods as rated by DogFoodAdvisor.com. No food in our store contains corn, wheat, by-products, unidentified meat meals or soy.
To encourage green practices, reusable shopping bags are available. Every time a customer brings the bag back to shop, they receive a 10% discount off their highest priced item.
Dog day care at the Green K9 provides socialization and exercise for dogs who are left home alone all day. Rushing home from a day of work, shopping or running errands to let the dog out isn't necessary with the use of a dog day care facility. For the cost of one visit from a pet sitter, your dog can play all day in a safe, supervised setting. Canine guests stay cool and comfortable under a gazebo with water misters, wading in baby poosl, and lounging on cots in an air conditioned play room.
We are conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Tavares. Please visit us for a tour Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
